I’ve pretty much always known I was an introvert. Throughout my school life, I struggled with “coming out of my shell” and willing myself to be more social. Teachers would tell my parents at conferences that I was a model student, but I was quiet.
But it wasn’t until fairly recently that I discovered I was an INFJ and everything made sense! Except, nothing made sense! (INFJs are weird, y’all). It is the most rare personality type, claiming 1-3% of the population. It was freaky reading the INFJ profile and putting into words what I’ve felt, and normalizing my strange behaviors.
